One Whole Year

Weight: 24 pounds, 9 ounces (92 percentile)
Height: 29 inches (55 percentile)

Wearing: still size 4 diapers. No more Carter's 12 months fit with maybe 1 exception. Still in Old Navy 12-18 mo. The worst problem is she needs bigger sizes for her belly, but not her little legs. Sigh.

Likes: FOOD. crawling everywhere. her walker. getting into everything. blowing kisses. blowing raspberries. her sissy. music and dancing. loves crayons and trying to eat them.

Dislikes: when Mommy walks away.  Not a fan of apricot or bell pepper. doesn't really like to sit for diaper changes but will work through it.

a motto to live by

I can't believe this is Allie's final monthly update. It (of course) feels like I blinked and the year went by, but that is to be expected I think. A lot of stuff has happened over the course of this year and we have had many obstacles to overcome and I like to believe that every single day we are ALL getting stronger, better, happier, smarter, bigger (ugh, me too). Allie has taught me more in the past year than I had ever dreamed. She has become this ray of sunshine in all of our lives that really never ceases to amaze me. She is sweet, smart, loving, happy, curious, determined, tolerant, incredible. She loves to snuggle, loves to be held and kissed and hugged. Loves to give kisses, hugs and high fives. Laughs easily and often, and when she's crying you know something is up. She tries hard, every single day, and never gives up even when it seems like she should. She makes me so proud to be her mother and I hope that her never-ending determination well, never ends.

This past month she has started saying Mama, thus beating out Anna in the race for favorite daughter. (HA, Anna didn't say it till 13+ months..)  While Allie still seems to say Mama only when she is in bed in the middle of the night (being that I'm the only one in her room at 2am, it may be safe to say she is doing that one on purpose) and also when she is in her highchair (I also feed her most of her meals, but Mama also sounds like MmmmMMmmm, so you be the judge), I will still take the victory.

She loves searching for crayons in the playroom and finding the one thing in the room you actually don't want her to touch. Still loves bath time and being around Anna, watching her being funny and wanting to do whatever she is doing.

Allie loves food and for her first birthday got to have the ceremonial diner pancake breakfast that is part of birthday tradition around here. We went out for "girls breakfast" since all the guys were working and had a great time together. I'm fairly certain she would have eaten the entire pancake if I hadn't taken it away!

Allie- you are AMAZING and we love you more than words.  You little chubber, you rosy rosy little cheeky chubber (that's how Anna greets her most days). You are strong, you are smart, you are beautiful.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I'll have more to come about her 1st year, her 1st birthday party and more.

umm.... now what.

she was on the move to get into her drawers. Her favorite past-time besides eating.

Allie at 11 Months

And just like that, we are officially one month away from having a 1-year-old! Cliche cliche cliche, I just do not know where this year has gone. I feel like I don't have enough time to do all the things I need and want to do, and before my eyes everyone is just getting bigger and bigger .... which means I am also growing older, which I am not okay with either.  Regardless, the last 11 months have been full of so much love, we have just loved every second with Allie.  More mush coming next month. For now, here's her stats.

There's that happy girl we all know!

Weight: 24 pounds, 5 ounces [97th percentile!...... shocking!]

Height:  28.75 inches [50th percentile]

Wearing:  size 4 diapers, all clothes are mostly in the 18 month range. I am kind of finally realizing that while Carter's stuff is cute, it just doesn't work for this big baby! After a couple washes they shrink and don't fit her anymore, making it just feel so wasteful!  Old Navy and Children's Place clothes seem to be a good bet for us lately, their sizes are pretty accurate and fit and hold up well. I especially like the CP pjs.

Likes:  pretty much everything and everyone. Loves being outside, going for walks, playing on the swings. Likes to snuggle me in the Ergo carrier. LOVES food - of all kinds. Cannot even open a wrapper to any type of food as she thinks everything is for her and gets mad if you don't share. Loves opening drawers in the kitchen and exploring our Tupperware and throwing things around. Loves her big sissy, loves bath time and splashing around, loves standing up and taking steps. Again, she is just pretty much the happiest baby around.

Dislikes: when Mommy walks away. (still)  Otherwise there isn't too much she doesn't like. I guess besides headlocks and body slams from Anna.

This month was kind of hard, as I got carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand. I wasn't able to lift Allie on my own for 5 days (although that didn't happen), and I had a big bandage thing on it, plus pain and stitches, etc. I did my best but it definitely made things a little harder around here. I have to say though, after the initial first 5 days, it was feeling GREAT. I see a HUGE difference in my hand and there is no numbness and barely any pain (unless I hit the wounds or turn it the wrong way). I am SO happy I did this and so glad Doug pushed for me to go. I no longer have to wear the brace at night and no longer have numbness when washing my hair or doing my makeup or anything really. The left hand had only "moderate" nerve damage so they weren't as 'eager' to do that one as they were for my right hand. Basically they want the right one to heal all the way before discussing the other hand. Now that I know recovery isn't awful (as long as we aren't killed on the insurance side of things) I can't wait to fix the other side and once and for all be done with all this pain and numbness.

Otherwise we have been having fun. Lots of nice days playing with friends, going to parks, playing in the baby pool outside, going to the beach (ehh, not as fun with 2 kids) and just enjoying the good weather. I will certainly miss this freedom when it gets cold!

In just one month we'll be celebrating Allie's first year with a ONE-derland celebration. More to come! :)

And here are some outtakes - my favorite:

sorry, gotta go!

oooh what's this over here??

Caught me! The shirt is on backwards since I have no plain white shirts that fit right now haha

10 Months!

Somehow we are only (less than) 2 months away from ONE YEAR! What??

HEY CUTIE!

since Allie never, ever has had one of these..... she was due!

Weight: no idea! Based on my scientific scale technique, I think maybe she's in the 23 or 23.5 range. (Or... just really super heavy.)

Height:  No idea! We don't go back to the doctor till 8/14 so we won't know for sure until then!

Wearing:  size 4 diapers, mostly 12 month clothes or 12-18 months. Some of the Carter's stuff is 18 months, but my god does it just all look so SMALL!

Likes:  the bath. & water in general. going on walks, hanging with Mommy in the Ergo carrier, making raspberries, constantly talking, standing up and "walking" while we hold onto her, loves all foods [peas and avocado are still suspect].  Can't wait for her first day at the beach. Should be fun with a tent and an umbrella and 500 toys and food and blankets and and and and and...    This baby just loves life and we all love her so much.

Dislikes: when Mommy walks away. Still.  Pretty much everything else is just A-OK with her.

This has been a fun month. The weather has finally been mostly summer-like. Allie, Anna and I have been all over playing at different parks and with friends. We splash in the baby pool in the backyard and run through the sprinkler. Both kids love the swings and Anna has been having so much fun making friends at every park we go to. Allie is constantly chatting (mostly ba ba ba and da da da and ra ra ra and ga ga ga) and this month has learned how to blow kisses and raise her arm in the air to cheer "YEAHHHH!" (she says that too)  It's the cutest new trick we like to make her perform.

She is regular with her sleep routine and I don't talk about it, so that's that.

She is a good and patient baby sister who loves Anna so much. Anna, in turn, loves her VERY much - so much sometimes that she crushes her with love. I say it is the reason Allie has always been chubby - to help defend these love attacks.

We had Allie's christening this month as well and she was a perfect angel all day. It was a HOT and humid day and the church and restaurant were both severely lacking in AC so we all pretty much sweat for hours before we could head home to our nice overly cool house. Even being hot and outside her normal "routine" she of course went with the flow, was happily passed around to all the guests at lunch and I don't think she ever made a peep - other than laughing or babbling. Thank God for Allie.... the happiness that baby gives out is like no other!

During the past month we visited many parks, Anna had her first visit to the ER (an allergic reaction to antibiotics for ear infections), we had a sleepover at Sonja & Baby John's for Memorial Day, we played with lots of friends, we tried fishing at Holmdel Park and got skunked, we went to Mike & Christin's "shore house" (about an hour south) and had a sleepover there too!, we celebrated Baba's birthday and went to "Fair Haven Day" which is a celebration our town puts on with music, food and drinks plus bouncy houses for the little kids.  A busy month!

Can't wait to see what the rest of the summer holds... PLUS turning ONE!

Our favorites -- the outtakes:
raspberries!

oh hey sissy!

it's okay sissy, here's Woofie!  Don't cry!

9 Months In... 9 Months Out

.... where has the time gone? I know I will blink and we'll be celebrating Allie's 1st birthday! (But PLEEEASE don't let the summer fly by.. we've been waiting forever for nice weather!!)

Watching her sissy run like crazy around the room

Crazy after-bath hair

Weight: 22 pounds, 9 ounces (Finally only in the 95th percentile... evening out!)

Height:  27.5 inches (50th percentile)

Wearing:  size 4 diapers, mostly 12 month clothes. Just bought her an 18-month bathing suit though, as it looked so tiny! I swear Carter's clothes are essentially useless (but so cute!) because after just a few washes I feel like they are so small! She is not growing that fast.

Likes:  big people food! Has basically loved every single thing she's had so far (ranging from baby food purees to chunks of fruits, cheerios, puffs, goldfish (haha) - she only turned down avocado - not that she wouldn't eat it, she just made faces and stopped opening her mouth. Again, kids are SO different as avocado was Anna's favorite!  Loves pulling glasses off your face. Loves waving. Loves giving high fives. Loves the bath. Pretty much loves everyone and everything. The happiest baby on earth.

Dislikes: when Mommy walks away from her.

Has been really chatting up a storm lately. Ya ya ya ya ya. Da Da Da. Oh well, I thought I could get at least ONE kid to say Mama first, but I guess I'll just have to settle for being #1 ;)

We are so happy about the start of official spring and gorgeous weather. Getting out to different parks, going on long walks, enjoying the sunshine and fresh air. Allie loves it and is such a trooper. If we go to the park and Anna is running around like crazy... I mean, WHEN we go to the park and Anna is running like crazy, I put Allie in the carrier and she is happy as a clam - can see everything, feel the breeze on her face and she is snuggled up near me. We have a great time. I say this now as she isn't very mobile, but I know once she wants DOWN DOWN DOWN it will be a different story. Climbing through wood chips and dirt will be next on the agenda. God I forgot how annoying daily baths were, and now made even worse with 2 kids - slathered with sunscreen and 1 covered in sweat and dirt make it necessary. Sigh. We'll miss this in November.  Until then, I'll have a tub with a perpetual dirt ring around it.

Doug is off now until June 1 - taking his next series of paternity leave time off and we are SO excited to have him home! The weather is set to be beautiful and I want to take Anna to the zoo one day, among other little fun things. I LOVE his job for this reason! He still has 2 more weeks to take before Allie's 1st birthday, what a treat for all of us!

After today's doctor visit, Allie doesn't have another check up until 1 year! I can't believe I'm already making her 1 year well visit. Where does the time go??

And just for laughs... here's some of the behind the scenes the day I tried to take Allie's pics. It was bath time and Anna was having a blast.

Allie Cat at 8 months

"Allie Cat" as Anna has taken to calling her lately. Always makes me giggle.

A look at our 'peanut' in her 8th month..

happily kicking away, even though suffering a cold on her "birthday"

saying "HI!"

nobody has nothin on those rolls!

Weight: I will say about 22.5 lbs, according to my very scientific way of weighing myself alone and then again while holding her.  No doctor appointment till the middle of May, so no way to know for sure.
[Anna was 19 pounds, 6 oz.... catching up!]
Height:  No clue, how are you supposed to measure a baby outside the doctors office??

Wearing:  size 4 diapers, mostly 12 month clothes (with a few random 9 month items hanging on).

Likes:  FOOD (all kinds. Puffs, cheerios, bites of goldfish crackers. I swear if I put steak in front of her she would eat it) Loves Anna, still. Loves when we clap and dance.  Loves her sippy cup. Likes to pull glasses off your face. Likes to pull hair and grab noses.

Dislikes: when mom leaves the room. Does not like to wait to eat, when she's ready.. she's ready. Has been giving a hard time with sleep lately too, but again... everything is a phase.

This month she has started really waving in earnest. She gets what it is, and if you walk in a room she lights up and waves to you when you say hi! It's wonderful. I love her full body wiggle when she is particularly happy.  If you are holding her and someone comes in the room, she wiggles and wraps her arms around your neck and hugs and wiggles around like "HOLY CRAP!"  She has also really started clapping... or at least the basic motions of clapping. Anna gets a real kick out of it too, "Look Mommy! She claps!!!" - every time. It's sweet.

She has also gotten "pretty good" at feeding herself (or really, really trying to). Picking up puffs and cheerios all over the place, while only some actually get in her mouth. She is determined. It is obvious that food will be a good motivator for Allie! (duh)

Outtakes:

OOH Hey what's up there??

eh, who cares, I'm beat.

Another step closer to 1 year!

I know I keep threatening another post, so I better get on it... just so this blog isn't strictly a virtual baby book for Allie at the moment.

For the meantime, I will update on Allie's 7th month so I am not fully behind on everything..

7 Month Stats

Weight:  21 pounds, 9 ounces

Height:  26.75 inches

Likes:  ALL food. Hasn't met something yet she doesn't like. Has had: carrot, green bean, peas, sweet potato, banana, apple. Has been seen gnawing on a pizza crust. Still loves Anna (even when she is being rough and annoying). Loves when you make the "cluck"ing noise with your tongue. Likes trying to grab EVERYTHING. Very nosy and interested in the world. Always wants your food or drink. LOVES the bath... best time of her day!

Dislikes:  pooping in the car & then sitting in it for an entire ride.  Too bad she keeps DOING EXACTLY THAT. Hasn't really been a fan of napping for the past week or so. I think her bottom teeth are making their way in and causing a lot of yelling/crying/gnawing especially at night. (Yay, teeth!)

Wearing:  went up to size 4 diapers. The girl has a large butt, what can I say? These fit much better. She fits in 9 month clothes, but 12 month pants feel so much better around her belly. They are still too long but we survive. Big girl problems..

Hair:  coming in steadily, although at an awkward length that Doug calls "little dutch boy". It's a blondish-brown and fuzzy in some spots. Still, very soft and cute.
Eyes:  brown? Sometimes I think Hazel-ish. I think just brown.

Still, the world's happiest baby and 95% easy going. (Although with said teeth bothering her, she's been wanting 24-7 contact and GOD is that hard on my back!)

welp, gotta go!

Happy Half Birthday Allie!

Our sweet little chubbers is now half a year old!  How did this happen?? Feels like all I have time for anymore is updates on Allie, but I have a million pictures and things I could put into a post and I will soon enough!

who's happier than you?

AHHHH NOW WHAT!

6 Month Stats

Weight:  21 pounds, 4 ounces
[Anna was 17 pounds, 12 ounces]

Height:  26.75 inches
[Anna was 26 inches]

Likes:  her sister... no, she LOVES Anna. everything she does is the funniest. Likes sitting up, likes when mommy or daddy dances. Likes chewing on her hands (and yours). REALLY likes food. (Is this a surprise.. look at her!)  Likes to grab my face and bite my chin.

Dislikes: .... not a whole lot. Does not like to wait for food.

Wearing:  still in size 3 diapers. Wears 9 month jammies, some 6-9 mo clothes, but mostly everything is 9 months+.

Hair: looking blonde/light brown. Still sparse.
Eyes: Most definitely turning brown!

sisters! one of my favorite pics

Allie is most definitely the happiest baby. She is very easily entertained and always smiling. Lots of things make her happy and she mostly never whines unless "necessary". She is constantly chewing on her hands, drooling, trying to bite you. I don't know if it's teeth or just baby behavior. I guess until I see a tooth nub, I'll just assume typical baby behavior. She just got over another cold/cough (which is pretty much the saddest thing ever!) but dealt with it like a trooper, per usual.

She is rolling both ways, although still gets stuck sometimes. She's found her feet and her voice! She loves "yelling" at us if there is something she wants or if she isn't happy where she's at.

We started solids this month and I started with oatmeal to get her into the hang of it. She was unsure at first but then wanted MORE. We moved to sweet potatoes and then green beans and she's been loving all of it, screaming for more when the bowl is empty! The other night we were watching a movie together and Doug made us some popcorn. Allie was sitting next to the bowl, watching us all eat and kept swiping at it, trying to grab some for herself! She started YELPING in anger so much so that I had to leave the couch with her because obviously popcorn is not a baby food! I hope she continues to enjoy all the different foods. I had a good time with Anna eating all kinds of stuff - but unlike her sister, Allie actually likes purees. Anna did not want anything to do with that! It is so fun to me to see how they are different.

GIMME THOSE OATS!

First Bite Face: Green Beans.  (loved it.)

Allie at 5 Months

In the blink of an eye, Allie is somehow 5 months old already. Time really does fly (insert all the other appropriate cliches here too)  [As a side note, I was prepared for this on Jan. 13 but we didn't see the doctor for our check-up till the 21st. So I am not already neglecting the poor second kid ;)]

Stats:

Weight:  19 pounds, 14 ounces
[Anna was 16 pounds, 4 ounces]

Height:  25.75 inches
[Anna was 25 inches]

Likes: baths in the big tub!  When mommy or daddy dance and sing.  Pretty much anything Anna does. Eating. (clearly)
Dislikes: boogie sucking. being left alone for too long.  Also, apparently SLEEPING WELL.

Wearing:  Size 3 diapers.  Nothing smaller than 6 month clothes. Mostly 9 month jammies. Will likely move on from those soon too if this crazy growing continues.

Full disclosure: I wrote 90% of this blog just before her actual "birthday". Things have changed a bit on the plus side, but I want to leave it so I remember what was happening at this point.

Much like in Anna's 5 month update, I also feel like Allie's hair is growing overnight! She's got a bunch of longer hairs on top and it seems to be filling in a bit on the sides and back where she had rubbed herself a good bald spot. I can't really tell the color, some of it looks light brown and some of it looks blonde!  We'll see, I remember Anna's hair really started to come in around 6 months.

We haven't slept in a month. I don't know what's going on with her but it was like a switch flipped and she stopped being the excellent, easy sleeper she had been for 4 months.  Up multiple times a night, wanting to nurse 2 times, being awake for 1.5+ hours at a time. I AM SO TIRED. I somehow am able to get up every day and continue on (and I never nap, somehow) but I am so sick of it.  What am I doing wrong that makes the kids act this way??
(as you can tell, this was written in a dark period of sleep deprivation.)

All that being said, she is SO much more alert than she's ever been. She is taking in every thing she sees, really is recognizing people she knows (with BIG smiles), is having a hard time focusing on nursing (everything else is so much more exciting!). She is also giving what I like to say are hugs and kisses! She pulls my head in (around my neck) and open mouth kisses my face. It's amazing and I love it.

She is rolling over consistently from belly to back. Trying desperately to roll back to belly, but not there yet. We're working on it!  Starting to really watch us as we eat and drink. Starting to do much more swatting at cups/food than she has ever done. Anna was much more aggressive (shocking, I know)  Really, really trying to sit up constantly. Straining in her car seat to sit forward, always in every contraption we've got trying to sit up. I am always trying to give her the chance to practice. Sitting on her own isn't very good yet, she kind of leans forward and then will topple over but it won't be long!

I say she is a bit more "lazy" than Anna, where at 4 months Anna was putting her pacifier back in her mouth, Allie is more like "...meh, okay" and just leaves it. She is definitely more laid back in general so I guess this goes hand in hand with that.

Just before her official 5 month "birthday" we moved Allie to her room to sleep. Since we had been having so many issues, I got her this new "suit" to transition out of the swaddle and she needed full arm and leg room, which she didn't have in the co-sleeper anymore. Basically on the same night we changed Anna's bed to a "big girl bed" and moved Allie to her own room. Go big or go home I say!! (Everyone survived... mostly)  Like Anna, she didn't really have a problem being in her own space and I can't say one way or another how it affects her sleep. It's just nice to have our room back again, even if occasionally we end up with another passenger in bed before we wake up.

the merlin magic sleepsuit
aka the marshmallow suit aka starfish suit

Even when grumpy, she really is a very happy baby. I can't wait to see what the next couple months bring as she gets more mobile (and maybe thins out a bit, but don't lose those cheeks miss!)

Next checkup on February 20. We'll likely move forward with solids then, I'm not in a rush this time & know she'll let us know when she's ready... already starting to get more grabby for our food/drinks!

Outtakes are the best. Anna cannot help herself.

Allie at 4 months!

Time is really flying.  Our little peanut is already 4 months old. How did that happen?

Weight:  18 POUNDS, 7 OUNCES.  (101+%)
(Still so shocked by this, although my back says "Um, DUH")
[Anna was 15 pounds, 3 ounces. Allie already blew that way outta the water]

Height:  25 inches  (75%)
[Anna was 24.5 inches, also surpassed by little sissy]

Likes: Raspberries on her chubby neck and belly. Bath time. Trying to sit up. Looking at herself in the mirror. Playing on her playmat, trying desperately to roll over.

Dislikes: Being in her car seat in the car. Well, still just the car in general. Has started hating sleep/fighting naps and bedtime. YAY 4-month sleep regression...

I think since Anna was such a crappy sleeper, when it came time for the 4-month regression, we were already battling her daily for sleep that it seemed like more of the norm. Because Allie has been better than that, we are noticing the changes much more.  There is more crying and fighting naps, more short (SHORT) naps, bedtime at like 6:20 because she is just too tired to stay up, more wake-ups in the middle of the night. Most of the time she isn't angry when she gets up and while we're cuddling in bed she sometimes looks up at me and says "GOOOO" with this big smile. It makes it a little less awful ;)

This is my last full month home with my chubbers. I go back to work on January 5. Not sure what my schedule will be like yet, we haven't finalized the details, but I will likely do a 3-day schedule for a while while we are figuring out how this all works for all of us. I know Ken is anxious to have me back and has already said he will work with me to get the best schedule. The upside of this situation is the woman who is doing my job will still be working at my company in some capacity (unlike Amy who once I came back, was gone) - so he will always have some type of support, whether from me or her or both of us. That definitely takes some of the pressure off that I felt last time. I can't believe it's almost time already.. I feel like it has flown by this time. I go back and forth with my thoughts - sometimes I want to CRY thinking of not seeing Allie all day and sometimes I think of all the things I can do BY MYSELF and then I feel excited/happy to go back. Again, I'll give myself the 6-month window to see how we are all adjusting to the new schedule and if things aren't working, we'll re-evaluate.

Coming up is Allie's first Christmas and New Year's. Very excited for all the milestones we have to look forward to!

Now, some outtakes.  Big sister Anna couldn't step back for a few pics...

Allie at 3 Months

Weight:  16 pounds, 13 ounces  (well above the 100th percentile)

[Anna was 13 pounds, 5 ounces at this age]

Height:  24.25 inches  (around the 75th percentile)
[Anna was 23.25 inches]

Likes: snuggling.  Anna in all shapes and forms - loves it when she bounces her on the bed. Loves her playmat & looking at herself in the little weird mirror. Loves riding in the bassinet part of the stroller. Loves when we "goo goo" at her or blow raspberries. Also likes grabbing handfuls of my hair. That's super fun...for me.

Dislikes: diaper changes. tooting. riding in the car. (HATES!). Will be fine in her car seat anywhere BUT in the actual car.

Other notes:  Our little girl is BIG. (This isn't a shock to anyone who has seen her in person) but literally she has grown out of almost everything that says "Size 3 Months". She fits in Old Navy size 3-6 month still, but all Carter's are out the window. I find they run very small anyway, as a lot of her sleepers are 6 months and seem tight on her. (She just can't be that big)

She switched to size 2 diapers at about 2 months, and seems like we might be getting close to going up a size again. I know it'll just take 1 explosive diaper to point me in that direction. Won't be long.

She is not a huge fan of tummy time and has a hard time getting her head up for too long. I think it's a combo of the whole no neck thing, and having a big chubby face to hold up. She's great when you are holding her, her neck is very strong and she likes looking around and she does well when propped on the boppy pillow, but straight on the ground isn't her strong suit.

Typically goes down to bed anywhere between 7 and 8. It is starting to trend a bit earlier, which is kind of throwing our evenings off - between Doug getting home, dinner for Anna, dinner for us, bath time for everyone, different bedtimes, one kid crying for the boob, one kid crying for mommy to read stories, it is CHAOTIC.  I do look forward to a more settled routine when Allie is asleep by 7 every night so maybe we can eat and I can start reading to Anna again, occasionally.  (Although I know Daddy really loves it ;)

Having a bit of trouble with her breathing at night since we turned the heat on. It's so dry she is congested but nothing really seems to help. We have the humidifier on all night, do saline drops in her nose and use the boogie sucker, and recently we've elevated the head of her mattress a bit to try to help. It's so awful! It really is the worst at night. She sounds like a pug. The doctor checked her, she has no sounds in her lungs; her throat, nose and ears look good and no temperature - which means we just have to try to keep her comfortable. Looking into more remedies today.

So far, she is the happiest little thing I've ever seen. We joined a local mom playgroup with other babies around her age and she is content to just hang out, quietly observing everything. Most days she ends up falling asleep while I'm holding her, despite all the talking and noise. She is such a sweetie and makes all of us happy just being around her!

Next appointment is December 17 for more shots and fun.  Yahoo!
